Outer Headspace
Formalist photography series during my study in the Centre of Creative Photography, Adelaide, South Australia. In my series I photographed the urban landscapes as painterly abstract wallpapers. Although my images are a real representation of the world they also become very abstract. These flat walls and backdrops themselves can be seen as contemporary paintings from the everyday life. The harsh shadows, the different coloured textures and surfaces create an artistic reality, often overlooked by the everyday passer by.
