Mindspace

What would happen if we saw the things around us through the mind’s eye?

The inner state of the mind constantly changes. It is difficult to capture something so fluid. Nothing is sure and it can be a challenge to find solid ground in this floating space. At first glance everything is normal, but when we see the photographs closely, we realise these scenes are not real.

The constructed world in this series is puzzle-like, chaotic and often fragmented.  The external world actually represents the inner state of the mind. There is not any entry and there is not any exit here. The mental space is profound and infinite.

I have created this personal series during my photographic concepts study at the Centre for Creative Photography, Adelaide, South Australia.
